Places To Go, People To See

Author: Quill McMartin Published: February 22, 2001

Two new features have been added to the regularly scheduled events in and around the realm. A revised overview is provided here for our reader’s convenience.

NEW! Storyteller Sunday

Join friends and special guests at the Jollier Fairgrounds on Sunday afternoons to hear original tales spun by some of the finest bards, authors and poets of the realm. Each week will feature a different theme. The bar will be open, providing cheese, a variety of fruits and a full selection of libations. See schedule below.

The Pilgrimage

Lady Shannon continues to host a weekly pilgrimage to one of the shrines. Not for glory, not for gain, these voyages are a time for friends to gather together in peace, to enjoy the beauty of the lands and to waylay anything that tries to stop them. See schedule below.

Treasure Hunting

Now a bonafide tradition, Marlo’s treasure hunts have gained great popularity. Open to everyone, the group gathers at the Jollier Fairgrounds at 8pm CST. Marlo provides the maps. After the hunt, the treasure is divided among the participants. In consideration of safety and fairness, it is kindly requested that large pets not accompany their owners on these outings.

NEW! Tour d’ Realm

Join your humble narrator (that would be me, Quill McMartin) in traveling the realm, discovering exciting new places or revisiting the old favorites. Proprietors of privately owned establishments and city leaders may wish to have their venues added to the roster. To do so, merely arrive on one of the tour nights and provide a rune to your pub, shop or town. This is an excellent opportunity for citizens to travel together and build their rune libraries or meet new friends. Anyone interested should meet at the Skara Brae Town Hall in Trammel and be ready to depart by 8pm CST on Thursday evenings. Tours will go to both Trammel and Felucca, alternating weeks.
