Publish 95 Approaches

Greetings Everyone,

The Holiday Season is getting ready in full swing! Pumpkin patches and graveyards across Britannia have been packed with pumpkin carvers and trick-or-treaters are filling their backpacks with treats! Thanksgiving tables are available from the Horn of Plenty which recharge during the month of November. Finally our Holiday gifts begin delivery on December 1st - so get your characters ready because we know you'll love this year's collectible gifts!

We will be releasing Publish 95 to Test Center by November 3rd, 2016. Publish 95 includes a major Bulk Order Deed update as well as our new seasonal Artisan Festival that hopes to spread a little holiday cheer! Also don't miss this years Vet Rewards! We look forward to hearing your feedback on Publish 95!

I am still looking for a good candidate for the position of Event Moderator on Chesapeake, so please check out the website for more details if you are interested in applying. I am also sad to inform everyone that after October the current Player Event Coordinators will be leaving the program due to real life issues. You will see PEC Raine around and can reach him at [[1]] for any assistance with player events you might want to develop.

Finally, the Developer Meet and Greet schedule for November is Lake Superior on November 7th, 2016 and Hokuto on November 28th, 2016 - hope to see you there!

See you in Britannia,

Bonnie "Mesanna" Armstrong

Producer

The Artisan Festival

The Artisan Festival is our new seasonal holiday event that will be taking place in cities across Britannia! The Artisan Festival gives crafters a chance to turn in Bulk Order Deeds (now with expanded skills including - Fletching, Carpentry, Tinkering, Inscription, Alchemy, and Cooking!) to build Holiday Decorations in the host city! We've got a brand new (and massive) tree to spread the holiday cheer as well as some great rewards you can check out below. We'll have more details about the festival once Publish 95 hits Test Center - but for now the most important thing to remember about the Artisan Festival is - the greater the partcipation, the greater the rewards!

Question & Answer Corner

1. How does the damage eater property work?

This property converts up to 30 points of damage dealt to a player back into a healing charge. The damage inflicted must be the same type of damage as the eater for the property to function. Similar eater properties stack with other but are capped at 30%. The "damage all" type of eater is capped at 18%. The property stores up to 20 healing charges and converts charges every three second from the last time damage was received. The "damage all" type of damage eater does not stack with specific eaters. This property is generally only found on armor and shields.

2. Can an option to have items in the trashcan auto delete be added?

We will be looking into adding that option for the players to choose.

3. Can you adjust the spawn of the Iron Beetle?

We have increased the spawn rate of the Iron Beetles and it will be adjusted when Publish 95 is released WW.

4 . Can we add an additional way to get the Nexus deed?

In the future we will add the Nexus deed to Exodus loot.

5. Is it possible to add a wedding package to the Ultima Store?

This is a great idea. We are currently in the process of putting together special items related to Weddings. Once everything is finalized we will let you guys know when it will be available to purchase.

Customer Service

1. If you have an account that was terminated by CS over a year ago and would like to have it back please contact support here and give them the details and identify the account as yours, depending on the termination we will remove the restriction from your account so you may open it again.

2. All Sovereigns purchased from Origin have to be entered on the Account Management page. You can not enter these in game.

3. Anyone that is trying to reopen an account please make sure you send all the information to [email protected] so we can have a record of this. In the original request to support if you do not know your secret word please ask for a hint. Give them all the information to identify the account as yours so there will not be a lot of delays.

4. Anyone that does not get their codes from Origin please follow this link to resolve the issue..

5. If you have any in game questions or issues please either page in game or email [email protected].

6. For any feedback to content put in game please send it to [email protected].

7. Regarding Origin orders, codes, and third party resellers.

Recently some of the player base may have noticed that an Origin store purchase they have made did not arrive or complete as expected. A confirmation or code email has not been received and you are wondering what may have occurred with your order. The Origin store enacts reviews on all transactions to safeguard against fraudulent purchases, and these reviews may take up to 72 hours. Unfortunately our Billing department is not able to expedite or circumvent this process, however players who have questions or concerns regarding a store purchase can contact Origin support for assistance using the below link: [2]

When prompted for a product, choose Origin. Next choose your platform, and select ‘Orders’ as the topic. You can further specify your issue in the subsequent fields before speaking with an agent.

We would also like to reiterate that the Origin store is the only guaranteed provider of codes for Ultima Online. The validity of a code purchased from a third-party seller (be it a friend, in-game acquaintance, or recommended site) cannot be guaranteed. Furthermore, any codes we find to have be fraudulently obtained will be disabled and an account that applies any of these codes will have that code removed from said account. This can result in the loss of gametime, character slots, expansion access, Sovereigns (and the items purchased with them), in-game items and more. Please be advised that we cannot assist with any issues stemming from codes purchased via non-Origin means; you will be required to contact the vendor from which you purchased the code for further assistance.
