This is a simplistic guide on how to create a new page on the wiki.

In the search box, type in the context that you want the new page to have, prefixed with the proper namespace for the title of the game the content applies to.

Game Title Prefixes are as follows:

  • UO: = Ultima Online
  • SO: = Shards Online
  • SotA: = Shroud of the Avatar

By example, if you wish to create a page about A Random Creature, for Ultima Online, simply type in UO:A_Random_Creature in the search box and click search. Please take note of the colon between the prefix and the page title, and the underscores in the page title. A similar approach would be taken for creatures for other games, SotA:A_Random_Creature or SO:A_Random_Creature.

A page will come up telling you that no such page was found, with a link below it that says *Create the page UO:A_Random_Creature* on this wiki!

Click on that link and it will bring you to the editing page where you can type your text.

Once you are finished, simply scroll down and click on Save Changes...and you're done!

All media files go into the (Main) namespace. Any images or other media files should have the filename be prefixed with the relevant game's abbreviation. Example: UO-A_Random_Creature.png

Content on the Wiki should consist of immutable information which is not subject to change, or variance. Information on Items, Creatures, NPCs, Locations etc. are acceptable. Quest Guides, other Guides, News, and Articles should not be included in the Wiki, rather these should be submitted through the Article Management System.
