The Dire Wolf is an evil creature which is not to be underestimated. It is VERY aggressive, often moving to attack a person before the victim can see it. Though it can only take the same amount of damage as a Timber Wolf (not much), it hits harder and much more often than it's cousin. Be carefulnewbies should be very wary around these animals. A few unlucky hits, and you could be lunch.
