Gimme 5 from 2003-09
This Q&A session was originally posted at the now-defunct IanStorm.com [1].
IanStorm | Are we going to get more tiles for house customizing? For example, plaster archways. |
Vex | This is something we would definitely like to do. I can't say for certain whether we'll add any for sure, or what the tiles will look like if we do, because our plans are not yet that firm. |
IanStorm | Will a paladin ever be able to use locked down rune books, besides using one set to default? |
Vex | We have a feature change in mind for a future publish that will allow locked down runebooks to be accessed by anyone who meets the security requirements set on it. For example, if a runebook was locked down and set to be accessible by friends, then friends of the house would be able to change the default location, add scrolls, and recall/gate using the page icons. |
IanStorm | Will unstackable items, such as sand, granite, and seeds ever become stackable? |
Vex | Right now, that is not something we are working on, but it is something that we would like to change as we move forward. Hopefully they will become stackable, but right now I don't know when that would likely happen. |
IanStorm | Are we going to have more events or invasions? Kind of like the last one with Dawn and Blackthorn? |
Vex | Are we going to have more events or invasions? Kind of like the last one with Dawn and Blackthorn. |
IanStorm | Are you guys looking into the "recall bug"? It's where you rubberband back to a different area after recalling, or not being able to recall across different facets, or recalling to Trammel and ending up in Felucca somewhere instead? |
Vex | We continue to fix as many bugs per publish as we have time for. We have posted an updated Pub 20 bug fix list (http://update.uo.com/design_478.html) that includes information on exactly which items are currently being addressed. |
