Treasures of Tokuno

A TREASURE-TROVE OF FUN

This month we launched the Treasures of Tokuno event across all shards. A devious plot to steal the ruling family’s fortune goes wrong, and thousands of ancient items start washing up on the shores of the Tokuno Islands - only to be hoarded by the denizens of Tokuno. Rare and powerful artifacts like the Dragon Nunchaku and Gloves of the Sun await those brave enough to hunt them down.

The Ultima Online team is hitting the road and will be visiting UO fans around the world at UO Town Hall Meetings, where 50 or more players can talk directly to the dev team, ask questions, and give feedback on what they want from the future of UO.

If you’d like us to hold a UO Town Hall meeting in your town, please send an email to [email protected] with your Name, City, State, UO Account Name (NOT PASSWORD), and tell us where we should have the meeting and how many of your friends, fellow players and guild mates would attend.

We’re hoping to do one of these events each month across North America, as well as swing through Europe and Japan. Look for information about the first UO Town Hall Meeting soon. Thanks for your help!

THE INVASION RAGES ON

We have been receiving lots of positive feedback for the ongoing Despise Invasion event that began with the Publish 29. Check out this post from Stratics reader “Elric” talking about how much fun and excitement the invasion has brought to Britannia:

Wow.
Well, I haven't been able to say this in a long time but I must admit. I'm pretty impressed.
The invasion is awesome. I haven’t seen this kind of teamwork/co-operation with strangers since pre-tram invasions. Not to mention people are actually dying, which is a nice switch. Maybe its just Origin and it's under-developed char base but whatever. Its like a blast from the past.
I haven't had this much fun PvMing in quite a long time. "Refreshing" is the only word that seems to fit. Dev, this is definitely a huge step in the right direction! I hope this invasion lasts a long time. Maybe at least as long as the old school pre-tram ones. Maybe longer.
Can't wait to see how it plays out on a developed shard!
Keep this up!
Elric
