We released client patch 5.0.7.0 around 10:30 am on Saturday, December 9, 2006 (Saturday).

Changes in client patch 5.0.7.0

• Added text for live event and fixed localization.

If the patch is applied correctly, the client version will be shown as 5.0.7.0 for both 2D / 3D clients.

Regardless of introduction of publish to the Japanese shards, updating the localization by the published patch is subject to all shards.

• The localization file including the update part may be changed until the publish to the Japanese Shard.

When the patch does not work correctly

• In the "patch" folder of the "Ultima Online" directory (by default, C: \ Program Files \ EA Games \ Mulberry of Ultima Online Treasure \ patch)
• Delete it if there are files here.
• (The folder name of '\ Ultima Online Buddha's Guardian' may be different depending on client version)
• Close UO and try again.
• In the case of the initial version of Ultima Online, install the version after "The Second Age" and try reconnecting.
• Try running virus scan. It is possible that the virus will cause the patch process to fail.

If the patch did not work properly in the above procedure

• Temporarily remove all resident software such as anti-virus / security / firewall software and try.

• It may be caused by the Windows XP firewall function.

クライアントパッチ 5.0.7.0 の変更内容

• ライブイベント用テキストの追加とローカライズの修正。

パッチが正しく適用されると、クライアントバージョンは2D/3Dクライアントとも5.0.7.0と表示されます。

※ 日本シャードへのパブリッシュ導入如何に関わらず、公開されるパッチによるローカライズの更新は全てのシャードが対象となります。 ※ 更新箇所を含むローカライズファイルは、日本シャードへのパブリッシュ導入までに変更される場合があります。

パッチが正しくあたらない場合

• 「ｳﾙﾃｨﾏ ｵﾝﾗｲﾝ」ディレクトリの「patch」フォルダ内（初期設定では、C:\Program Files\EA Games\ｳﾙﾃｨﾏ ｵﾝﾗｲﾝ 宝珠の守人\patch）を確認し、
• ここにファイルがある場合は削除してください。
• （「\ｳﾙﾃｨﾏ ｵﾝﾗｲﾝ 宝珠の守人」のフォルダ名はクライアントバージョンによって異なる場合があります）
• UOを一度閉じて再度起動してみてください。
• 初期版のウルティマ オンラインの場合は、「ザ・セカンドエイジ」以降のバージョンをインストールして再接続を試してください。
• ウイルススキャンを行ってみてください。ウイルスがパッチプロセスに障害を起こす可能性があります。

上記の手順でもパッチが正常にあたらなかった場合

• 一時的にアンチウイルス・セキュリティ・ファイアウォールソフト等、常駐ソフトをすべて外して試します。
• （正常にパッチがあたった場合にも、解決しない場合にも、手順を試した後には外した常駐ソフトは元に戻してください。）
• Windows XPのファイアウォール機能が原因になっている場合があります。
• ネットワークのプロパティから設定が可能です。詳しくはOS付属のマニュアルをご覧ください。
• 正規の方法以外でシステムファイルを変更した場合、パッチを含めたクライアントに問題が起こる場合があります。
• こちらから再インストールの際の注意点をお確かめの上、再インストールを行ってください。
• また、以前パッチサーバー接続問題の際に「vercfg」の内容を変更されていた場合には、パッチサーバー接続問題記事を参考に、「vercfg」の内容を戻してください。
