ロイヤルガードは先頃、イルシェナーにおいてミナックス（Minax）がその部下たちと再び秘密裏に会談を開くとの情報を手に入れた。

直後現場に合流した近衛隊長ジョフリー卿（Sir Geoffrey）とロイヤルガード探索隊がその場を収めたが、キーワナンはうまくその場を逃れ、ジョフリー卿はすぐに救急隊を指揮してエレイン指揮官と共にブリティッシュ城へと引き揚げたとのことである。
その後のブリタニア評議会の発表によると、エレイン指揮官の容態はまだ高レベルでの看護を要するため、王室内で最高水準の医療を受けているとのことである。ロード・ブリティッシュ（Lord British）と宮廷魔道師のクレイニン（Clainin）は指揮官の受けたこの毒の詳細を現在も調査中とのことである。
