The Rune Beetle is a huge beetle with a large glowing blue rune on its back. Its hard exoskeleton makes it a very tough foe.The beetles bite is extremely poisonous and can inflict greater poison as well as cause the wound to bleed profusely. In addition to Bleed and Poison attacks, the Rune Beetle also has the ability to corrupt armor for a short time, which effectively nullifies your resistances. For the daring animal tamer it is actually possible to tame the Rune Beetle, which of course is a formidable pet to use in battle.
