ロイヤルガードの指揮官であるエレイン・ベイフェリー（Elaine Bayfery）は、ミナックス（Minax）一派の放った毒により健康を害していた。試みた治療法はことごとく失敗に終わり、宮廷魔道師のクレイニン（Clainin）の施した治療も何度か失敗に終わった。しかし、全ての望みが絶たれたわけではなかった。そして希望はオドリック（Odric）という謎めいた男の形を取って現れたのだった。
オドリックは、最後の試みが失敗したとき徳の聖堂（Chamber of Virtue）に現れた。邪悪な手により遮られた儀式は、その必要とする秘薬だけを失う結果となり、クレイニンはもうこれ以上手の施しようがないとさえ思ったものである。その自信たっぷりな奇妙な男は許可が下りるならば完璧な治療を施すことができると誓い、詳しい手順は後日説明すると去っていった。
数日してオドリックからの連絡が入ると、いくばくかの準備をすませたロイヤルガードとそれぞれに集まってきた忠実なるブリタニアの市民たち、そして私を含む一行はキャッスルブリタニアから、会見の場トリンシックの外れを訪れた。そこでオドリックは彼の交換条件を明らかにした。指揮官を治療する代わりに、現在ミナックス一派の手に渡っている先祖伝来の品を取り返すことを要求したのである。
彼の説明によると、数年前彼は家族とトリンシックに住んでいた。名誉の都市であるトリンシックがミナックスによって占拠されたとき、ちょうど彼はムーングロウを訪れているところだった。不幸にも彼の家族はその争いの中で殺され、先祖伝来の品々はミナックス一派によって奪われた。それらは他人にとっては何の価値もない物であるが、オドリックにとっては貴重な品なのだという。
彼の話には訴えるものがあり、クレイニンそしてロイヤルガードは彼の大切な物を奪還する手助けをすることに同意した。それを受けたオドリックはポーションを取り出し、クレイニンに手渡した。クレイニンは注意深く内容物を吟味した後、エレイン指揮官にそれを飲ませたところ、まもなく彼女は完全に解毒さ元気を取り戻したのだ！
ロイヤルガードとオドリックは、ミナックス一派の手からアイテムを取り戻す計画について打ち合わせているらしい。この計画は近く発表されるだろう。
Elaine Bayfery, the commander of the Royal Guard, was injured by the poison released by the Minax faction. Every attempt was made to fail, and treatment by the court mage teacher Clainin also ended in failure several times. However, not all hope was cut off. And hope appeared taking the form of a mysterious man called Odric (Odric).
Odrick appeared in the village's chapel (Chamber of Virtue) when the last attempt failed. The ceremony interrupted by evil hands resulted in the loss of only the necessary secret medicine, even thought that Krayinin could no longer do any more hands. The odd man with enough confidence pledged that if permission would be granted it would sweep perfect treatment and detailed procedures will be explained as we leave later.
A few days later when Odric contacted us, some royal guards who made preparations and the faithful Britannia citizens who gathered together, and one including me, from Castle Britannia, are out of the trinsic for a press conference I visited. So Odric revealed his terms of exchange. Instead of treating the commander, I requested to recover the ancestral items that are currently in the hands of the Minax.
According to his explanation, a few years ago he lived in Trinsic with his family. When Trinthic, an honorary city, was occupied by Minax, he was just visiting Moonglow. Unfortunately his family was killed in the fight, and the ancestral items were robbed by the Minax faction. They are not worth anything to others, but they are valuable items for Odric.
There is something to appeal to his story, Clayinin and the Royal Guard agreed to help him recapture his precious things. After receiving it, Odrich took out the potion and handed it over to Krayinin. After carefully examining the contents, Craininin gave it to the Elaine commander, and soon she was completely detoxified and revived!
Royal guard and Odric seem to be discussing plans to regain items from the hands of the Minax. This plan will be announced shortly.
