徳之諸島ではわけもわからないままに騙されることを「Bakekitsuneにつままれる」と言うそうだが・・・。 どうやら私もBakekitsuneにつままれたようだ・・・。 始まりは、そう。 デュプレ（Sir Dupre）が意識を回復して、色んなことを話し始めたことからだった。 初めはわけのわからないことばかり繰り返し話していて、本当に気が狂ってしまったのかと思った。 でも、何度も耳を傾けていくうちに、ある場所を指しているのではないかと気付いた。
ただ、その場所は私の知る限りブリタニアには無さそうであることしか解らなかった。 明らかにブリタニアの様式と異なる、木と漆喰でできた家。 巨大な山の麓にある、相当な広さのある建物。 デュプレを見つけたときの状況を考えてみると、やはり徳之諸島である可能性が高かった。
私はすぐに冒険者の皆の知恵を借りることにした。 彼らには本当に感謝しているの、勇敢で、知恵もあって、そして何より心優しい彼ら。
冒険者達は私の呼びかけにすぐに応えてくれた。 デュプレの回復を伝えると、彼らには安堵の表情が浮かんだ。 なんだか私もほんのり嬉しくなった。
デュプレの言っていた事は彼らの手にかかったらあっさり場所が判明した。 ロード・ブリティッシュ(Lord British)から受けた彼の使命はあのミナックス（Lady Minax）を追う事。 とすると、彼の言っていた場所はミナックスの隠れ家かもしれない。
私はその場にいた冒険者の皆に一緒に来てくれるよう頼んだ。 ・・・彼らと一緒なら、たとえミナックスがいたとしても絶対に負けない！・・・そんな気がした。
でも、たどり着いた先で私達を待っていたのはあの赤い魔女ではなかった。 待っていたのはベロ・オンダリバ（Belo Ondariva）・・・。 どうやら私達は待ち伏せされていたみたいだった。 ベロは大きな獣を私達にけしかけたけれど、手下のNinjaやRonin達が総崩れになるのを見ると、またも逃げていった。
私達はベロを取り逃がしたことと、思惑が外れたことに少なからず落胆してブリテインへと戻った。 そんな私達を待ち受けていたのはレンシャイア男爵（Baron Lenshire）だった。 彼は挨拶もそこそこに首を投げた。・・・ベロ・オンダリバの首を！！
「ジェロームの借りはこれで返したな」
そう言うと、私が呆然としている間に男爵はさっさと行ってしまった。 今度会ったときにしっかり話を聞かなければ。
「卑怯者にはふさわしい末路が待っている」と良く誰かが言うけれど、ベロの最後はあっけなかった。
一体、何が、どうして？
ああ、そしてデュプレ・・・デュプレは嘘をついたのだろうか？それとも・・・。
どっちにしろこのままでは、もうしばらくつままれっ放しなのは間違いないだろう・・・。

But it was not that red witch waiting for us on the way we arrived. Waiting for Belo Ondaliva (Belo Ondariva) · · ·. Apparently we seemed to be ambushed. Vero shooked a big beast to us, but as she saw that the underling Ninja and Ronin were totally destroyed, they ran away again.
We returned to Britain with a great deal of disappointment that Miss Vero was missed and that I was out of speculation. It was Baron Lenshire who was awaiting such a thing. He threw his head a bit over his greetings. ... The neck of Vero Hondariba! It is!

As I said, the baron gone quickly while I was stunned. I have to listen carefully when I meet next time.
Someone says, "Well suited for a coward is waiting for you", but at the end of Vero it was awful.

Oh, and Dupure ... did Dupure lie? Or ....
It will be no doubt that you are being pinched for a while for whatever it is ....
