As I sit here trying to scribe, quill in hand, I find my mind already wandering along the open roads of Britannia. It has been almost 5 years since my duty as a guard of Lord British ended, and since that time I have grown restless. I feel I have been merely masquerading as a weapons trainer since those days of service, for ‘tis the life of an adventurer that is my true calling. I have already gathered the few belongings I believe worthy of the burden, and tommorrow at dawn shall begin my journey. But where shall I go? In truth… I know not.

At last I shall travel as a free spirit, without the everyday burdens of city life. Much excitement flows through my veins, but ‘tis late, the candle burns low and the quill runs dry.

I must rest, ready for the morrow.
