Properties were changed with AOS. Prepatch bows had (when converted to AOS properties) Durability: 70% and Damage Increase 25%. Postpatch bows were missing the durability property and damage increase was dropped to 20%. Both types originally gave 16-18 damage; this was later changed to be 17-21. The speed was also changed to make them take approximately twice as long to fire, from 20 (old style notation) to 4.25s (roughly 40 using old style notation). The damage and speed changes were retroactively applied to all orcish bows.
