The Bake Kitsune is a strange creature that mostly resembles a fox, but with the small difference that it has no less than three tails. Unlike a normal fox, the Bake Kitsune has the ability to cast a great number of spells, some of them quite damaging. In addition to the spellcasting abilities the Bake Kitsune also has the ability to go into a rage, that will allow it to inflict a small amount of damage over time to its enemy. As a tactic to fool its prey to let it get close, the Bake Kitsune will often use its magic abilities to take the shape of a human.Although the Bake Kitsune is a quite aggressive and fierce creature it is actually possible for a skilled animal tamer to tame it.

Trivia

Bake Kitsune are based on the Kitsune from Japanese mythology. Shrines still found in present day Japan to the Shinto deity Inari Ōkami often have statues of Kitsune present as these spirit foxes served Inari Ōkami as messengers. Kitsune are often considered tricksters and are famous for their pranks, the high pitched giggle of the Bake Kitsune is a tribute to this.
