The Target Dummy was given as a first place prize in the Greymason's Archery Contest.
It was still owned by the original owner, Valthalion of ELF, as of 2018. He reports that due to a bug, the appearance of this item at some point changed into that of an Ogre Statuette, however, it still keeps score like a target dummy.
An alternative UO rares website incorrectly shows the Target Dummy being dated 2007. However, The Order of the Eight Virtues (OEV) guild fully covered and documented the Greymason's Archery Contest event with the Target Dummy being awarded out on December 6, 2006.
