Montor
After the Shattering devastated Ilshenar, those who had survived gathered in the north-eastern mountains, and on the banks of the Termir Flam, they built a new city. Named Montor, or 'Mountain Passion', it was a place of peace and great beauty.
It didn't last. Only twenty years after the city was finished, citizens were woken by a massive explosion from the mountains above. As rock rained down, lava began to pour through the city. A major volcano, which the survivors later called 'The Abyss', had been born. The citizens fled, and the city was abandoned. Today the city is inhabited only by demons and dragonkind.
